Holiday Fire Dragon Punch
A bright and bold beverage with hints of spice. Created by Chef Jennifer Bajit.
Ingredients
4 orange slices, plus additional for garnish
4 cinnamon sticks, plus additional for garnish
1 cup cinnamon flavored whiskey or liquor of choice
32 oz DOLE Sweet & Sour Mix
2 cups DOLE Chef-Ready Cuts Diced Dragon Fruit
½ cup apple cider
Directions
- Place orange slices and cinnamon sticks in punch bowl or pitcher.
- Pour liquor over sliced fruit/cinnamon sticks
- Mix Dole Sweet and Sour Mix with apple cider
- Working in batches, place half of the frozen dragon fruit in a plastic quart container, shaker, or large jar with a lid, and pour the Dole Sweet and Sour Mix and apple cider over the dragon fruit, enough to cover the chunks.
- Cover and shake until frothy; use a slotted spoon to hold back the frozen chunks of dragon fruit; pour into punch bowl/pitcher with liquor mixture. Repeat until all liquid mixture is utilized.
- Stir gently, and top with some of the froth. Serve immediately or over ice.
