Gentleman Jacks Caribbean Sauce
A Cajun style sauce with bananas and bourbon which is great served over Jerk Chicken or grilled pork.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
¾ cup DOLE Pineapple Juice
1 cup DOLE Chef-Ready Cuts Pineapple Cubes
⅓ cup bourbon
½ cup packed brown sugar
⅓ cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 cup DOLE Chef-Ready Cuts Sliced Bananas partially thaw
Directions
- Combine onion powder, garlic powder, hot pepper sauce, pineapple juice, pineapples, bourbon brown sugar, chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, in medium saucepan. Heat mixture to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes. Add bananas and remove from heat. Serve with Jerk Chicken or grilled pork tenderloin.
