Banana and Saigon Cinnamon Spiced Pizza

This pizza is topped with ricotta cheese, banana slices and cinnamon and makes a great dessert.

Banana and Saigon Cinnamon Spiced Pizza

Ingredients

1 (12-inch) pizza crust par-baked

½ cup ricotta cheese

¼ cup packed brown sugar

1 tsp ground Saigon cinnamon

2 Tbsp cinnamon baking chips

⅓ cup slivered almonds toasted

1 cup DOLE Chef-Ready Cuts Sliced Bananas

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Place crust on pizza pan.  Stir together ricotta cheese and 1/2 cup banana slices in small bowl.   Spread ricotta mixture evenly over crust. 
  3. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in small bowl, reserving half of this mixture. Spread half of the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture on the pizza.

  4. Coat remaining banana slices with brown sugar and cinnamon mixture; lay banana slices on top of pizza.  Sprinkle cinnamon baking chips over banana slices.
  5. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until heated through.  Sprinkle with toasted almonds and caramel sauce, if desired.
