If you enjoy changing it up when you go out to eat, The Restorative in Dunedin Florida delivers exactly that with a rotating menu developed by chef owners Jason and Erin “Cricket” Borajkiewicz. Their menu changes 2-3 times a week, so while you never know exactly what you’re going to get, we can guarantee you’ll leave feeling restored.

When given the opportunity to create their own recipe using DOLE products, Chef Cricket immediately gravitated towards the DOLE Chef-Ready Frozen Fruit Purees. “Frozen fruits and purees are perfect for baking, because they provide a more consistent product than the fresh ingredients”, says Chef Borajkiewicz. The end result was a light and creamy French dessert- Strawberry Lemon Posset. The recipe utilizes just four ingredients and features DOLE Chef-Ready Frozen Strawberry Puree for a bright and refreshing fruit dessert, perfect for any summer menu.

As part of the partnership with The Restorative, chefs Jason and Cricket chose a local charity that they’ve been working with to receive a product donation of 1,000 DOLE Fruit Bowls. That organization is Dunedin Cares Inc. a local food pantry working to help fight food insecurity and alleviate hunger by providing food to the local community, showing kindness, respect, and compassion as neighbors help neighbors.
