Veggie Lovers Pizza
A delicious vegetarian pizza made with pesto and Mediterranean dry herb blend.
Ingredients
1 (14 to 16in) thin pizza crust, partially cooked
½ cup marinara sauce
2 cups Parmesan cheese, finely grated
½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
½ cup green bell pepper, thinly sliced
¼ cup black olives, sliced
1 cup DOLE® Shredded Young Green Jackfruit in Brine, drained
2 tbsp Mediterranean dry herb blend
2 oz pesto
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Spread marinara sauce blend evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Evenly cover the base with sliced onion, bell peppers, and olives.
- In a small prep bowl, toss the jackfruit in the herb blend, and then evenly distribute over pizza.
- Bake for 12-14 min in oven or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and drizzle pesto over the pizza, serve while hot.
