BBQ Chicken Pizza
Where sweet meets savory.
Ingredients
1, 14 - 16in pizza crust, thin, partially cooked
½ cup BBQ sauce/marinara sauce, blended
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
½ cup red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 cup DOLE® Pineapple Tidbits in Light Syrup, drained
4 oz chicken breast, thinly sliced, partially cooked
2 tbsp BBQ dry rub
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Spread BBQ/marinara sauce blend evenly over the crust.
- Spread cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Top base with sliced onion and bell peppers.
- In two separate prep bowls, toss the pineapple and the chicken in the BBQ rub, and then evenly distribute over your pizza.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until golden brown, and serve while hot.
