Hawaiian Musubi
Grilled pineapple mixed with sticky rice and topped with seared spam wrapped with furikake dusted nori.
Ingredients
HAWAIIAN MUSUBI INGREDIENTS:
10 cups sushi rice, cooked
30 ea. DOLE® Canned Pineapple Slices in 100% juice, ⅓ cut, grilled
30 ea. spam, ¼” slices, seared
30 ea. Nori paper, cut into 1”x4” pieces
¼ cup Furikake
¾ cup Pineapple Kewpie Mayo, sub-recipe
PINEAPPLE KEWPIE MAYO INGREDIENTS:
¾ cup Kewpie Mayonnaise
¼ cup DOLE Pineapple Juice
Directions
KEWPIE MAYO:
- In medium bowl, mix all ingredients together until well blended. Cover and refrigerate until use.
TO SERVE:
- Divide 1 cup of rice into ⅓ cup portions and shape into 1”x2” rectangles.
- Top each rice portion with 1 sliced seared spam and 1 slice of grilled pineapple.
- Wrap each portion with nori paper and dust with furikake.
- Drizzle each portion with ½ Tbsp of Kewpie Mayo and serve.
