Banana Rice Pudding
Ingredients
1 ½ cups DOLE IQF Banana Slices, defrosted and rough chopped
2 ½ cups Rice, short grain, rinsed thoroughly
¼ cup Butter
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 cup Water
16 oz. Sweetened Condensed Milk, canned
1 tbsp Vanilla
3 cups Milk
1 tsp Nutmeg
½ cup Raisins
1 cup Sugar
2 tbsp Cinnamon, for garnish
1 cup Dole IQF Banana Slices, defrosted for garnish
Directions
- In a Large sauté pan over medium heat melt butter and add rice. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Add water, cinnamon and nutmeg and bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add condensed milk, vanilla, milk and bring back to boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for one hour stirring often.
- Add raisins and Bananas and remove from heat to cool to room temperature. Stir often.
- Garnish with cinnamon and banana slices.
