Shrunken Skull
Strawberry Puree with dark spiced rum, bitter orange & tropical flavors.
Ingredients
1-½ ounces dark spiced rum
½ ounce Italian bitter orange aperitif
1-½ Tbsp DOLE Chef-Ready Cuts Diced Strawberries, pureed
1 ounce Fresh Agave Sour recipe below
1 ounce DOLE Pineapple Juice
1 dash grapefruit bitters
orange peel and sliced strawberry for garnish
1-½ cups agave nectar
1 cup lemon juice
1 cup lime juice
1 cup water
Directions
- Add rum, bitter orange aperitif, strawberry puree, agave sour, and pineapple juice into shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into glass with ice. Top with bitters. Garnish and serve.
- Fresh Agave Sour: Stir together 1-1/2 cups agave nectar, 1 cup fresh lemon juice, 1 cup fresh lime juice and 1 cup water in large container, until blended. Keep refrigerated. Makes about 4-1/2 cups.
