This traditional Indian drink infuses sweet mango with nutty flavors for a drink worthy of celebrating.

1 cup unsalted almonds, roasted

1 cup unsalted Macadamia nuts

¼ cup fennel seeds

¼ poppy seeds

1 tsp black peppercorns

1 tsp coriander seeds

1 tsp cardamom pods

1 tsp saffron

2 cups DOLE® Chef-Ready Cuts Mango Cubes, thawed

1.5 cups water

2 tsp rose water

1 qt whole milk

½ cup sugar

½ cup mint leaves


  1. In a bowl add all the dry ingredients and the mango to the water and rose water and allow it to soak for at least 30 minutes, but preferably up to 8 hours.
  2. Add the soaked ingredients to a blender and blend until a smooth paste forms.
  3. Combine the paste with milk and sugar and heat gently if needed to dissolve the sugar.
  4. Serve chilled and garnished with mint leaves and additional diced mango if desired.
