Handcrafted Strawberry Shrub Tea
A handcrafted tea flavored with DOLE Chef-Ready Cuts Diced Strawberries, apple cider vinegar, honey and brewed tea.
Ingredients
1 ounce Strawberry Shrub Mix recipe below
1 ounce Fresh Agave Sour recipe below
4 ounces fresh brewed iced tea
1 mint sprig optional garnish
2 cups DOLE Chef-Ready Cuts Diced Strawberries
2 cups Apple Cider Shrub Mix recipe below
2 cups apple cider vinegar
1-½ cups honey
2 cups water divided
1 cup fresh lime juice
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1-½ cups agave nectar
Directions
- Muddle Strawberry Shrub Mix in 14 oz. glass. Fill glass with ice and add agave sour and iced tea. Roll back and forth 3 times in shaker to mix. Garnish with mint, if desired.
- Strawberry Shrub Mix: Combine 2 cups DOLE® Chef-Ready Cuts Diced Strawberries and 2 cups heated Apple Cider Shrub Mix (recipe below). Cover immediately and let stand for 24 hours at room temperature. Store chilled for up to 3 days.
Apple Cider Shrub Mix: Combine 2 cups apple cider vinegar, 1-1/2 cups clover honey, and 1 cup water in medium saucepan. Bring to gentle boil, stirring occasionally. Immediately remove from heat and store refrigerated for up to 3 days. - Fresh agave sour: Combine 1 cup fresh lime juice, 1 cup fresh lemon juice, 1-1/2 cups agave nectar, and 1 cup water in 1/2 gallon container. Whisk to mix completely. Store chilled for up to 3 days.
