Blueberry Smoothie

A delicious and healthy way to beat the heat.

INGREDIENTS:

1 DOLE® Banana, peeled and frozen, cut into chunks
1 cup DOLE® Frozen Blueberries
1 tsp. grated fresh ginger
1/2 cup apple juice
1 container (6 oz.) lemon yogurt
6 ice cubes made from lemonade
1 cup DOLE Blueberries
2 tbsp. honey

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine banana, frozen blueberries and ginger in blender.  Cover; blend until finely chopped.  Add apple juice and yogurt; blend to combine.  Add lemonade ice cubes; blend until slushy.  Add fresh blueberries and blend until well mixed.  Taste smoothie and sweeten with honey, if desired.
