Cranberry Sage Chutney

This is a great holiday chutney to serve with turkey or ham.

Ingredients

4 cups frozen DOLE Cranberries

1 cup DOLE Seedless Raisins

½ cup granulated sugar

¾ cup packed brown sugar

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon fresh sage finely chopped

1 teaspoon fresh ginger finely chopped

¼ teaspoon ground cloves

1 cup water

½ cup onion finely chopped

½ cup DOLE Chef-Ready Cuts Diced Apples

½ cup celery chopped

Directions

  1. Combine cranberries, raisins, sugars, cinnamon, sage, ginger, cloves and water in a saucepan.   Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low simmer 5 minutes or until berries start to pop.
  2. Stir in onion, apple, and celery; continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture begins to thicken, 5 to 10 more minutes.  Transfer to a container and cool slightly; refrigerate until serving time.  Serve with roasted turkey or baked ham.
