Banana Split Brownies
Decadent fudgy brownies with a banana bite.
INGREDIENTS:
3 lb (10-1/4 cups)

brownie mix

4 oz (1/2 cup)
|
milk
|
1 oz (2 tbsp)
|
vanilla extract
|
2 lb (6 bananas)
|
DOLE® Bananas, peeled, diced
|
4 oz (1 cup)
|
chopped pecans, toasted
|
2 tubs (12 oz. each)
|
thawed whipped topping
|
|
caramel sauce
|

maraschino cherries with stems

DIRECTIONS:
- Prepare brownie mix as directed on package; set aside.
- Heat milk and vanilla until hot. Add bananas, stir for 2 minutes to heat through.
- Pour banana mixture and nuts into brownie batter. Stir to blend. Pour batter in greased half sheet pan. Spread batter evenly.
- Bake at 350°F., 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Spread whipped topping over cooled brownies. Decorate with caramel sauce and cherries, if desired.
