Grilled Pacific Burgers
Grilled pineapple adds a sweet tangy flavor to this burger recipe.
Ingredients
6 lb. (24 patties) lean ground turkey
12 oz. (1-½ cups) honey mustard barbecue sauce
24 DOLE Pineapple Slices
24 rolls kaiser or hamburger rolls sliced
2-½ lb. 24 slices Cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese
24 lettuce leaves
24 red onion thin slices
Directions
- Form ground turkey into 1/4 lb. patties.
- Grill meat until no longer pink inside, brushing occasionally with barbecue sauce. Add pineapple slices to grill the last 5 to 10 minutes and cook until golden brown.
- Toast buns on grill.
- Place burger on bun. Top with cheese, grilled pineapple slice, lettuce and onion slice. Place on bun top. Serve with chips or fries.
