Tropical Fruit and Ginger Sauce

A great fruity sauce that can add flavor to pork or chicken without adding a lot of calories or fat.

INGREDIENTS:

1 can (15.25oz) DOLE® Tropical Fruit Salad
1 can (8 oz.) DOLE Crushed Pineapple, drained
3 tablespoons orange marmalade
2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, finely chopped
2 teaspoons cornstarch

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Drain tropical fruit; reserve 1/4 cup juice.
  2. Combine tropical fruit, reserved juice, pineapple, marmalade, mustard, ginger and cornstarch.  Cook over medium heat until sauce boils and thickens, stirring constantly; set aside.
  3. Serve warm over pork chop or chicken or serve as a side sauce.
