Mixed Berry Cheese Tea

A unique Asian-style iced tea flavored with mixed berries.

2 packages berry tisane tea
16 ounces boiling water
2-1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar, divided
1 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon cream cheese
2 tablespoons DOLE® Chef-Ready Frozen Blackberry Puree, thawed, divided
2 tablespoons DOLE Chef-Ready Frozen Strawberry Puree, thawed


  1. Pour boiling water over tea bags and 1 tablespoon granulated sugar in a separate bowl or heat-safe container and stir. Allow tea to steep for 10 minutes and remove from water, making sure all liquid has drained from pouches. Place in refrigerator to cool. 
  2. Whisk together the heavy cream, cream cheese and remaining 1-1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar in a medium-sized bowl until whipped and fluffy.
  3. Place a tablespoon of each puree in the bottom of 2-12 oz. glasses. Pour 8 oz. of chilled tea in each glass and stir to mix thoroughly. Top each tea with 4 oz. of cream topping. Serve immediately.
