Blood Orange Spritzer

A sweet, delicious cocktail.

INGREDIENTS:

1-1/4 oz. blood orange-flavored vodka
1 oz. DOLE Chef-Ready Frozen Peach Puree
1-1/2 oz. Fresh Sour Mix (recipe below)
1-1/2 oz. moscato wine

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine vodka, peach puree and fresh sour mix in shaker with ice. Cover; shake vigorously. Strain into 14 oz. glass filled with ice. Top off with moscato wine. Garnish with orange corkscrew and peach slice, if desired.

    Fresh Sour Mix: Combine 1 cup fresh lemon juice, 1 cup fresh lime juice, 1 cup water and 2 cups simple sugar** in 1/2 gallon container. Stir until well blended. Cover; refrigerate until ready to use. Makes 5 cups.

    **Simple Sugar: Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in 1 quart container. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cover; refrigerate until ready to use. Makes 2 cups.
