Spiced Cherry Fruit Sauce
This cherry fruit sauce is the perfect topping for any dessert, from pies to cakes to ice cream!
Ingredients
7 oz. (⅔ cup) granulated sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 lb. (2 qt.) DOLE Red Tart Cherries partially thawed
4 fl. oz. (½ cup) orange juice
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions
- Combine sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Stir in cherries, orange juice and cinnamon. Stirring constantly, over medium heat until sauce turns clear and slightly thickened. Remove from heat. Serve warm or chilled.
