This is a baked tart that combines the flavor almonds and peaches with hint of bourbon.

Ingredients

1 baked pie crust

7 oz almond paste

½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup all-purpose flour

2 oz (¼ cup) margarine or butter room temperature

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

1-½ lb. (4-½ cups) frozen DOLE Sliced Peaches

2 tbsp bourbon

Directions

  1. Fit pie crust into one 9 to 10-inch tart pan with removable bottom. Chill.
  2. Crumble almond paste in blender or food processor container. Add sugar, flour, butter, eggs and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Pour almond filling into tart pan.
  3. Arrange peach slices overlapping around edge and center of pan in fan design. Sprinkle bourbon over peaches.
  4. Bake at 350° F., 45 minutes. Cool and chill 6 hours or overnight. Slice and serve.
