Peach Almond Bourbon Tart
This is a baked tart that combines the flavor almonds and peaches with hint of bourbon.
Ingredients
1 baked pie crust
7 oz almond paste
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 oz (¼ cup) margarine or butter room temperature
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1-½ lb. (4-½ cups) frozen DOLE Sliced Peaches
2 tbsp bourbon
Directions
- Fit pie crust into one 9 to 10-inch tart pan with removable bottom. Chill.
- Crumble almond paste in blender or food processor container. Add sugar, flour, butter, eggs and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Pour almond filling into tart pan.
- Arrange peach slices overlapping around edge and center of pan in fan design. Sprinkle bourbon over peaches.
- Bake at 350° F., 45 minutes. Cool and chill 6 hours or overnight. Slice and serve.
