Tropical Fruit Salsa

This salsa can be served alone with chips or served over chicken and pork as a flavorful salsa without adding a lot of calories or fat.

INGREDIENTS:

1 can (6 lb. 10 oz.) DOLE® Tropical Fruit Salad, drained
2 oz. (1/4 cup) fresh lime juice
1 oz. (2 tablespoons) sugar
2 tablespoons serrano chiles, finely chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Coarsely chop tropical fruit salad.
  2. Combine tropical fruit salad, lime juice, sugar, chilies and mint in bowl. Serve salsa at room temperature or slightly chilled.  Garnish with serrano chili and mint leaves, as desired.  Use salsa as a dip with tortilla chips or served over fish or chicken.
