Hawaiian Honey Glazed Flat Iron Steaks

This spicy sweet Hawaiian sauce adds a lot of flavor to flat iron steaks.

INGREDIENTS:

20 oz. DOLE® Crushed Pineapple, undrained
1/2 cup DOLE Red Onion(s), diced
1 teaspoon chives, chopped
1 teaspoon chipotle powder
2 oz. (1/4 cup) teriyaki sauce
4 oz. (1/2 cup) hawaiian honey
12 (10 oz. each) flat iron steak(s)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine crushed pineapple, onion, chives, chipotle powder, teriyaki sauce and honey in saucepan over medium heat; reduce to syrup consistency.
  2. Grill steaks to desired temperature brushing with reduced pineapple sauce half way through cooking.
  3. Brush again or drizzle additional pineapple sauce over steaks at service.
