Grilled Pacific Burgers

Grilled pineapple adds a sweet tangy flavor to this burger recipe.

6 lb. (24 patties) lean ground turkey
12 oz. (1-1/2 cups) honey mustard barbecue sauce
24 DOLE® Pineapple Slices
24 rolls kaiser or hamburger rolls, sliced
2-1/2 lb. 24 slices Cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese
24 leaves DOLE Green Leaf Lettuce leaves
24 slices DOLE Red Onion, thinly sliced


  1. Grill meat until no longer pink inside, brushing occasionally with barbecue sauce.  Add pineapple slices to grill the last 5 to 10 minutes and cook until golden brown.
  2. Toast buns on grill.
  3. Place burger on bun.  Top with cheese, grilled pineapple slice, lettuce and onion slice.  Place  on bun top.  Serve with chips or fries.
